The consultancy follows a detailed and proven process that helps to guarantee the successful delivery of design projects. The overall process features five major stages:

  • Stage One – Following a preliminary meeting between the prospective client and Tessa to discuss the client’s overall vision and wish list, as well as other factors such as budget and time constraints etc, Tessa then defines the scope of the project and conducts a detailed brief with the client.
  • Stage Two – On the basis of this brief, the client is then presented with a design concept which includes sketch plans with furniture layouts along with a “mood board”, samples and a selection of fabric and colour swatches etc. This presentation usually includes a detailed cost estimate as well as indications of delivery milestones. Adjustments are  made thereafter  to suit the client’s preferences in terms of style, colour, and any budget parameters.
  • Stage Three – Once the client has approved the concept and budget, signed off any appropriate contractual obligations, and paid a deposit, the project gets underway.
  • Stage Four – This stage features regular updates and site meetings with the client to ensure that the finest details are not overlooked and that the project is on track. In the case of a new build or renovation, this stage also features site meetings with the architect, builder and other suppliers so that the client can happily hand over total control of all issues and problems to the consultancy team.
  • Stage Five – This stage culminates in the handover of the completed project. It’s the stage when everything comes together – when the delivery of furnishings and accessories are scheduled; when installation and styling is done and the project is handed over to the client. Any snags or minor adjustments are dealt with immediately to the client’s total satisfaction.
